The Celtics are apparently looking to make one more run with the core group that they have.

An ESPN.com article is reporting that the Celtics are possibly looking into trading their first-round draft pick in Thursday's NBA Draft.

The article, citing sources, says that the Celtics would be open to moving the pick to avoid having to spend the type of guaranteed money a first-round pick would get.

In turn, the team would then have more money to spend on a potential free agent who could make an immediate impact while the chances to win with the roster they have right now start to get smaller.

The Celtics, in addition to having the No. 19 pick in the first round, also hold the rights to the No. 52 pick in the second round.
