LeBron James Says Cavaliers Have ‘Edge’ in Signing Him This Summer

Making his first public statement about his impending free agency, LeBron James said that his hometown Cavaliers have an "edge" over any other team that wishes to sign him.

Speaking with Larry King, James said that to leave Cleveland would be to leave the comforts of home, but he stopped short of saying he's unwilling to head elsewhere.

"This city, these fans … have given me a lot in these seven years," he said, according to CNN.com. "And, you know, for me, it's comfortable. So I've got a lot of memories here. And … and so it does have an edge."

The complete interview is scheduled to air Friday on CNN.
