A Yankees fan is suing his favorite team for losing his stuff.
Michael Kovalovsky loaned a letter signed by Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle, along with other memorabilia, to the Yankees last year, TMZ.com reports.
The Yankees returned all of the items to Kovalovsky, except for the prized letter, which Kovalovsky obtained in 1959 as a response to a letter he sent to Mantle.
Kovalovsky is suing the Yanks for $100,000, in order to cover the cost of the memorabilia ($15,000) and lawyer fees.
According to TMZ, the Yankees have not returned calls for comment.
