While it appears that the Paul Pierce legacy is going to continue in Boston, another one is just beginning.
The Celtics announced on Friday that they have signed first-round pick Avery Bradley to a contract.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the 2010-11 rookie scale suggests Bradley will earn about $1.18 million in his first season.
The 6-foot-2 guard was the 19th overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft. He averaged 11.6 points, 1.3 steals and shot 37.5 percent on 3-point attempts as a freshman in 2009-10 for Texas.
