The Los Angeles Dodgers are teetering. They're hopeful, however, that a move for a pitcher can turn around their season in time for the playoffs.
That acquisition, according to several reports, could be Cubs starter Ted Lilly or Pirates starter Paul Maholm. According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the Dodgers "seem intent on getting one or the other."
Maholm is 6-9 with a 4.52 ERA in 21 starts for the Pirates, while Lilly's 3.69 ERA is somehow only good enough for a 3-8 record.
