J.D. Drew will bat second for the first time since April 23, and Dusty Brown gets the start behind the plate when the Red Sox wrap up a four-game series with the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.

Drew went 4-for-20 with a home run in five starts in the No. 2 hole back in April. The spot has been held down mostly by Darnell McDonald, Daniel Nava and Eric Patterson in the wake of Dustin Pedroia's injury.

Drew is one of three left-handed bats in the Red Sox lineup against Mariners right-handed starter Doug Fister. Only Patterson, who got the start in center on Saturday but is on the bench for this one, has ever faced Fister.

Brown will be making his third career start and catching Daisuke Matsuzaka for the first time in his career.

Here is the complete Boston lineup against Fister:

Marco Scutaro, SS
J.D. Drew, RF
David Ortiz, DH
Kevin Youkilis, 1B
Adrian Beltre, 3B
Jeremy Hermida, LF
Mike Cameron, CF
Bill Hall, 2B
Dusty Brown, C

Here is Seattle's starting lineup:

Ichiro Suzuki, RF
Chone Figgins, 2B
Franklin Gutierrez, CF
Jose Lopez, 3B
Justin Smoak, DH
Casey Kotchman, 1B
Michael Saunders, LF
Rob Johnson, C
Jack Wilson, SS
