NESN to Air Trade Deadline Special on Saturday Before Red Sox Host Tigers
For many baseball fans, the day of the non-waiver trade deadline is the greatest day of the year, and NESN will celebrate by once again airing a live special as the deadline hits.
Tom Caron, Heidi Watney and Nick Cafardo will hit the air at 3 p.m. on Saturday, live from Yawkey Way. Guests Peter Gammons, Tyler Kepner, Kevin Kennedy, Pete Abraham, Amalie Benjamin and others will either stop by or call in with the latest news regarding the Red Sox and from around the league.
The show has broken some big news over the past couple of years, with the Manny Ramirez trade being announced shortly after the deadline in 2008 and the Victor Martinez deal taking place last summer.
