Michael Vick will not be suspended for any time during the 2010 NFL season – for now.
After a league investigation of the Eagles' quarterback’s 30th birthday, in which Quanis Phillips, a co-defendant in Vick’s federal dogfighting trial, was shot, the NFL has determined no action will be taken, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Vick had reportedly already left the scene of the shooting just minutes before Phillips was shot in the leg.
Vick was expected to show up at the Eagles’ first day of training camp at Lehigh University on Monday and speak to the media for the first time since the June incident, according to the report.
