Test Your Knowledge About Bruins Trade Deadline Acquisitions

The Bruins have made few trade deadline moves in recent years, but in the last two years, a couple of their acquisitions have become valuable assets.

This past season, Boston's brass brought in defenseman Dennis Seidenberg at the deadline. Although the move didn't initially wow the Hub's hockey fans, the smooth, reliable play of the German blue-liner quickly caught the eye of the TD Garden faithful. Leading up to his season-ending forearm laceration with four games
remaining in the season, Seidenberg was arguably the most consistent D-man on the ice for his 17 games in Black and Gold.

In 2009, the B's nabbed a future Hall of Famer who immediately supplied a scoring touch and a leadership role in the locker room. This skater happens to be the oldest player on the roster, and is coming back for at least one more season.
