With less than a week to go, Yankee skipper and American League manager Joe Girardi has some tough decisions to make as he must choose an AL ace to take on the National League’s best hitters at the All-Star Game in Anaheim.

Although it sounds like a daunting task, there are plenty of arms that can handle the pressure as the AL is stacked with hurlers from all divisions. But there are three lefties in particular that stick out in Tampa Bay’s David Price, Boston’s Jon Lester and Seattle’s Cliff Lee.

Let’s take a look at the stats of these worthy candidates.

Price
11-4, 2.42 ERA, 90 Ks, 107 2/3 IP

Lester
10-3, 2.76, 118 Ks, 114 IP

Lee
8-3, 2.34 ERA, 89 Ks, 103 2/3 IP

So who should start for the AL in the All-Star Game?
