Hilary Duff, NHLer Mike Comrie Wed in Surprise Ceremony at Michael Douglas' Ex-Wife's Crib With a surprise wedding Saturday night, the streak of professional hockey players marrying really attractive female celebrities has continued.

Pop star and actress Hilary Duff reportedly tied the knot with NHL star Mike Comrie in Santa Barbara, Calif. The nuptials took place at San Ysidro Ranch, an estate owned by Michael Douglas‘ ex-wife Diandra Douglas.

Sounds romantic.

For a wedding that even the tabloids didn’t know about until it happened, it wasn’t that small — 100 or so guests were on hand.

Sort-of-famous sister Haylie Duff was the maid of honor.

Comrie proposed to Duff in Hawaii this past February, and she reportedly has been working out tirelessly for the past six week to look as “sexy” as possible in her wedding dress.

Just one month ago, fellow pop star Carrie Underwood married Ottawa Senator Mike Fisher.

The streak goes on.

Comrie, who had 31 points for the Edmonton Oilers this past season, is currently a free agent.

Comment of the Day

And with Saturday’s win, fans are optimistic again — sort of.

“Well, I was expecting this trip to not go very well for the Red Sox, but we have guaranteed .500 at the very least, we managed to stay right in the race.”

Video of the Day

LeBron James may be scaring everybody with his confusing Gus Johnson tweet and telling everybody that he is taking note of who his haters are, but if his three-point shooting against a goofy teenager at Cedar Point is a sign, he and his talents won’t be getting much vengeance in South Beach.
