Red Sox Game Against Mariners Postponed, Doubleheader Scheduled for Wednesday

The Red Sox' game against the Mariners scheduled for 7:10 p.m. has been postponed due to inclement weather. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Wednesday to make up for the postponement.

The Red Sox and the Mariners will play their originally scheduled game against the Mariners at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by the make-up game at 7:10 p.m.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday's postponed game, will be able to use those on Wednesday night. Likewise, tickets for the originally scheduled Wednesday night game will now be good for the Wednesday afternoon game.

The collective decision made by the umpires, the coaching staffs and the MLB was announced after reviewing the long-range forecast for the evening.
