Ray Lewis “just wanted to be honest” following the Baltimore Ravens’ five-point loss to Cincinnati in which the victory margin was decided by two field goals resulting from roughing the passer calls.

After the game, Lewis went off on the NFL for its harsh rules designed to protect quarterbacks.

“There are so many rules that take away from the game,” Lewis said. “If
you’re going to go at it, go at it hard, but don’t disrespect the game
like that.

“It’s war out there… you go full speed for 60 minutes,” he continued.

He also suggested that replay rules be expanded to allow more challenges of penalties.
