Test Your Knowledge of Boston Bruins Head Coaches

The Boston Bruins have been blessed with some of the best coaches to ever stand behind an NHL bench.

Claude Julien, the Bruins’ current head coach, has taken the team to the playoffs every year since his tenure begin in 2007. He led the Black and Gold to the best record in the Eastern Conference in the 2008-09 season, and the Bruins have come within one game of advancing to the Eastern Conference finals in each of the last two seasons. Entering the 2010-11 campaign, Julien has a 133-78-35 record as Bruins coach.

Harry Sinden was the youngest head coach in the league when he took over as Bruins head coach at age 33 in 1966. In 1970, Sinden coached the team to a first Stanley Cup title, Boston’s first championship in 29 years. He then served as the longest-tenured general manager in Bruins history.
