Triple-Doubles Aren’t Missing From Shaquille O’Neal’s Resume

Shaquille O’Neal is humongous, he has no outside shot and he’s not exactly what you’d call a passer. That doesn’t mean he can’t register triple-doubles.

He’s done it at least twice in the NBA, once in 1993 and again in 2006, but his most dominant performance might have come in college.

Playing for LSU against Loyola Marymount, Shaq scored 20 points, grabbed a ridiculous 24 rebounds and blocked 12 shots — not bad for a kid who was still a month shy of his 18th birthday.
