Beautiful Weather Adds to First Day of Head of the Charles River Regatta (Photos)

Between the beautiful weather, new fall foliage and entertaining races, spectators at the 46th annual Head of the Charles Regatta couldn’t have asked for a more perfect first day on Saturday.

Thousands of people watched from boat houses, atop bridges and along the banks of the river itself as rowers from around the world raced along the 3.2-mile course.
