Tim Thomas’ resurrection from the bench is finally complete.

Off to a stellar start this season, Thomas posted a 6-0-0 record in October and earned the NHL’s Second Star of the Month. He also was named First Star of the Week for the week ending Oct. 31.

Thomas currently leads all NHL goaltenders in save percentage, at a .984 clip. He also leads the league in goals against average, with a 0.50 and has posted three shutouts — also good for first in the league.

The B’s netminder put up back-to-back shutouts against division rivals Ottawa and Toronto last week. In two games against the potent Washington offense, Thomas saved a total of 73 shots and produced two victories.

He is the first Bruins goaltender to start the season 6-0-0 since Hall of Famer Cecil “Tiny” Thompson.

Tampa Bay Lightning forwards Steven Stamkos and Colorado Avalanche forward Chris Stewart were named the First and Third Stars, respectively.
