Bronson Arroyo Re-Signs With Cincinnati Reds Through 2013

Pitcher Bronson Arroyo will be staying in Cincinnati for at least three more seasons after re-signing with the Reds on Friday.

Arroyo's new contract takes him through the 2013 season and will include an $11.5 million option for the upcoming season. Overall, Arroyo's three-year deal with Cincinnati is worth $35 million, according to MLB.com.

The Reds have yet to officially announce the re-signing, but will likely do so during the team's Redsfest event this weekend.

Last season Arroyo helped lead his team to the National League Central title, going 17-10, with a 3.88 ERA in 33 starts.
