FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice Thursday, and if he remains on course, he'll practice three times this week for the first time in a month.
Brady, who missed Tuesday's practice to rest his right foot, has missed the team's first practice in four consecutive weeks. With an extended week to prepare for Monday night, though, the Patriots are actually holding four practice sessions leading up to the Jets game.
Defensive lineman Ron Brace also returned Thursday after missing Tuesday's session for unspecified reasons. Cornerback Jonathan Wilhite (hip), offensive lineman Stephen Neal (shoulder), defensive lineman Myron Pryor (back) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (neck/concussion) were absent from Thursday's practice.
