Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee is making the first splurge purchase of his new $120 million contract in the form of a brand new luxury condo estimated to be worth at least $5 million.
BusinessInsider.com reports that Lee and his wife, Kristen, have purchased a condominium at the newly opened 1706 Rittenhouse Square in downtown Philadelphia, according to Atacan Group realtors.
The development is equipped with a koi pond, full-service spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, automated underground parking system and massage rooms. The building sold for $12.5 million last year and now has 29 total luxury units.
According to the report, the Lee family will continue their permanent residence in Arkansas, but purchased the condo for when Lee pitches in Philly during the season.
