Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett Pose for Picture With Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt isn’t just the fastest man in the world, he’s the fastest man of all time. Recently, he met up with one of the NBA’s fastest men.

Terezowens.com has a picture (below) of the world’s fastest man catching up with Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo and forward Kevin Garnett.

If there’s one thing both Bolt and Rondo know, it’s speed. In the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Bolt won the gold medal and set the world record in both the individual 100 meter and 200 meter track events, with a time of 9.69 and 19.30 seconds, respectively.

On the other hand, you could argue Rondo is the quickest player in the NBA. He’s everywhere on the court, and in a split second, he can steal the ball and drive the length of the court for a breakaway layup. He also reportedly runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

However, can he beat the Jamaican gold medalist in a race? Rondo thinks so and even challenged Bolt.

“I challenged him,” Rondo told Dime Magazine. “I told him I don’t think he wants it, though. Yeah, I told him that, ‘You don’t want it.’ But I also told him that he might see me in 2012. He said, ‘OK, see you there.'”

KG is friends with Bolt because they both filmed a Gatorade commercial together.

Maybe he can arrange a race between the two stars. It’s likely that the only chance Rondo has, though, is if they’re both dribbling a basketball.
