Two games have spiked traffic on hockeyfights.com the most this year, and they just so happened to feature either the Bruins or Islanders — two teams squaring off Thursday night in Long Island.
The Bruins and Canadiens shed plenty of blood on Feb. 9, two days before the Islanders and Penguins couldn’t keep their mitts off each other on Feb. 11.
While both games have drawn criticism from fans who have trouble seeing the shiny white ice splattered with a deep red coat on occasion, most agree that both contests were chock-full of excitement, as seen in the videos below.
