Los Angeles Clippers, Owner Donald Sterling Honor Black History in Wrong Month

It looks like the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers needs a new calendar, or a history textbook.

According to The Huffington Post, a photo of owner Donald Sterling was printed in the Los Angeles Times on Sunday advertising a Black History Month celebration hosted by the Clippers. The problem? It's taking place in the wrong month.

The ad boasts a large photo of Sterling next to All-Star forward Blake Griffin and outlines the details of the event. It said, "In honor of Black History Month, the Clippers will admit 1,000 underprivileged children free."

Black History Month is celebrated in February, and the game is scheduled for March 2.

Critics say that it's simply a stunt for good publicity because Sterling has been accused of making racist comments toward his players in the past.
