The former Yankee is “panic-stricken” about Damon and Affleck’s movie, The Trade, which depicts Kekich and Fritz Peterson‘s wife swap in the 1970s, according to the New York Post. Kekich is trying to prevent the film from being made.
“Kekich is panic-stricken,” a source told the Post. “He is freaked out that those working on the movie found out where he is. He isn’t too keen on having the scandal dredged up again after all this time.”
The film is only in development, and the Post notes that neither Major League Baseball nor the Yankees has approved the script. Still, if Damon and Affleck can pull it off, you have to wonder if they’ll hold another premiere at Fenway Park. It’d only seem right.

“At the end of the day, New York needed a moment like this. When they got Amare [Stoudemire], it brought some excitement back to the city. Now, going back to what Amare said, New York basketball is back.”

We all can’t wait until this guy clears his schedule so we can get some more comments.
“Sorry. I went out for dinner. Off tonight, as well. I have to work weekends. I am looking forward to the playoffs, now. I hope to fly back to the homeland and watch one in the Garden, this year! Take Care”
