NBA Trade Deadline Live Blog: Kendrick Perkins, Nate Robinson to Oklahoma City

10:00 p.m.: Now that the trade deadline has come and gone — any final words? What team got the best deal? Which got the worst?

6:05 p.m.: The dust may have started to settle, but there are still a few loose ends that need to be tied before the day is through.

According to CSNNE.com's A. Sherrod Blakely, Marquis Daniels' agent has reported that his client will not veto the trade to the Sacramento Kings.

By accepting the trade, the Celtics are now able to collect the luxury tax rewards from their end of the trade.

4:35 p.m.: OK, so the dust has settled a bit around the league. Let's try to give a brief wrap-up of all the deals of the day.

The Celtics traded Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to Oklahoma City in exchange for Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic and the Clippers' 2012 first-round pick.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

The Clippers traded Baron Davis and their 2011 first-rounder to Cleveland in exchange for Jamario Moon and Mo Williams.

The Celtics traded Semih Erden and Luke Harangody to Cleveland in exchange for a 2013 second-round pick.

The Rockets traded Shane Battier to Memphis and Aaron Brooks to Phoenix. Battier and Ish Smith were traded to Memphis in exchange for Hasheem Thabeet and a first-round pick. Brooks was traded to Phoenix in exchange for Goran Dragic and a first-round pick.

The Thunder traded D.J. White and Morris Peterson to Charlotte in exchange for Nazr Mohammed.

The Bobcats traded Gerald Wallace to Portland in exchange for Joel Pryzbilla, Dante Cunningham and two first-rounders.

3:40 p.m.: The deals keep coming. According to multiple sources, the Bobcats have traded Gerald Wallace to the Trail Blazers for Joel Przybilla and two future first-round picks.

3:30 p.m.: The C's aren't done dealing as Wojo is also reporting that Semih Erden and Luke Harangody are heading to Cleveland for a second-round pick.

3:27 p.m.:
Shane Battier is heading to the Memphis Grizzlies for Hasheem Thabeet, reports Chris Vernon and Adrian Wojnarowski. The Rockets will also receive a protected first-round draft pick from Griz.

3:17 p.m.: It's not just Perkins that's headed to Oklahoma City — Nate Robinson is on the way out, too.

This is a huge move for the Celtics to solidify their core group of healthy bigs. Key word there: healthy.

The Celtics are looking to have a strong group of guys they can trust for the postseason. Apparently Perkins, with his two well-chronicled knees, wasn't sufficient. Nenad Krstic and Jeff Green are healthy bodies, if nothing else.

3 p.m.: Sometimes the last-minute deals are the most shocking ones, and that's certainly the case here. The Celtics have shipped Kendrick Perkins to Oklahoma City, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Rather than put all their eggs in one big-man basket, the C's are going to diversify and get two bigs back. Woj reports that Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic, two Thunder starters, are headed to Boston.

This is a huge deal between two contending clubs, shaking up their rosters late in the race. Really shocking.

2:55 p.m.: The deadline is passing, but that doesn't mean the deals are done. The Globe's Gary Washburn reports that the Celtics are close to moving Nate Robinson.

One would suspect that this is for wing help.

An interesting development to spring up at the last minute. There could really be something to this.

2:40 p.m: We're minutes away from the deadline, and there's still no resolution on the Anthony Parker situation. Some sources are saying the Cavs are done; others are saying that not only is Boston still alive, but Houston and Chicago are trying to sneak in as well.

The way these things work, you never know the truth until well after the 3 p.m. deadline passes.

The Celtics will definitely look to add a wing guy one way or another, we know that. Either a trade in the next few minutes, or a buyout pickup later.

2:20 p.m.: With all the talk this week of contenders making last-minute upgrades at the deadline, there's at least one team that's standing pat. That would be the Orlando Magic.

Of course, the Magic made a couple of big trades earlier this season, and at this point, there's nothing left on their agenda. One rumor that was floated out there earlier this week was Zach Randolph, but c'mon now. Let's not be silly. The Grizzlies are trying to put a playoff push together, and they need their All-Star caliber scorer.

As for the Magic, don't sleep on them. All the hype around the Heat, Bulls and Knicks has left the Magic as the East's forgotten squad, but it would be a mistake to count them out in the race for the East title.

1:59 p.m.: Now that Carmelo Anthony is long gone from the Mile High City, who could be next?

One possible answer? J.R. Smith. The Nuggets are in a position where they might begin to rebuild, and unloading Smith might be the next step. A couple of contending team could use a high-volume scorer at shooting guard, most notably Chicago and Dallas. Will the Nuggets pull the trigger on another deal?

Any contender that deals for J.R. has to be cautious, though. He's not the easiest guy to integrate into your system. He'll want lots of touches and lots of shots.

1:41 p.m.: One big question still lingers as the trading deadline draws closer — what will the Dallas Mavericks do?

Mark Cuban is known for aggressively wheeling and dealing every February to gear up for the playoffs. Last year, he went out and got Caron Butler; this year, he might want to deal Butler's expiring contract for a real piece.

With Butler out for the year, the Mavs need a wing guy who can give them something on both ends. Tayshaun Prince was the original thought, but apparently that's out. Richard Hamilton was at one point a viable idea, but perhaps that ship has sailed.

Could the Mavs stand pat? It would be very un-Cuban-like, but certainly possible. That team is good enough to compete for a title right now.

1:22 p.m.: A few of the NBA's biggest names have already moved this week, but here are two more that won't be going anywhere: Steve Nash and Andre Iguodala.

Suns owner Robert Sarver is intent on keeping Nash, which makes sense because the veteran point guard is absolutely the biggest reason his team is still selling tickets. Some may have thought the Suns would begin a firesale once Amare Stoudemire walked away last summer, but that isn't the case.

As for Iguodala, the Sixers' star scorer is now off the market as well. Maybe now, with Iguodala, Elton Brand and Jrue Holiday all in place for the stretch run, the Sixers can begin to make their push for the playoffs. They've got the talent in place to make a little noise.

1:01 p.m.: Two names for Celtics fans to keep an eye on — one is Anthony Parker, who's been in the local news for days now, and the other is Jason Kapono.

Parker is still on the table in a potential deal with the Cavaliers — one scenario sees him going to the C's for Marquis Daniels, at which point the Cavs buy Daniels out and float him back to the Celtics. Kind of like how the Cavs traded Zydrunas Ilgauskas last year and got him back for nothing. This deal could cost the C's little more than a draft pick.

The other option is to wait for a buyout with Kapono, who's currently keeping the Sixers' bench warm. Kapono's a versatile wing guy who can hit 3s, and he has title-winning experience (on the 2006 Heat, backing up Dwyane Wade). The Sixers are likely to cut him loose.

Of course, the buyout market might have more to offer this year than just Kapono. Think Troy Murphy, or maybe even James Posey. The possibilities are endless.

12:43 p.m.: As recently as Wednesday, it was a common belief that the Warriors would waive Troy Murphy almost as soon as the trade with New Jersey was completed. However, Golden State realizes that it could find a team desperate enough to give up a pick for Murphy.

Matt Steinmetz of CSN said that Warriors GM Larry Riley is hoping that a title contender like Miami or Boston will be willing to part with a pick for Murphy.

"It might be a longshot, but it's worth a try," Steinmetz wrote.

11:47 a.m.: Deadline day can be a stressful time for many players, but Jared Dudley seems relaxed.

"I gotta talk to my agent @SteveNash to see about all these trade rumors lol.," Dudley tweeted. "We're a package deal."

11:20 a.m.: Despite the fact that he has roughly a 1 percent chance of winning a championship this year, Steve Nash isn't complaining in Phoenix. The Suns also won't be trading him, according to CBS' Ken Berger.

"It appears the Suns will keep their word and not trade Steve Nash," Berger said on Twitter. "But rival teams believe he could be had around the draft."

It's too bad, really, because Nash joining a fringe contender would've made the next few months that much more exciting.

10:45 a.m.: The NBA's trading deadline is mere hours away, but several stars have already been moved.

Carmelo Anthony is a New York Knickerbocker (you may have heard), Deron Williams is a very unhappy member of the New Jersey Nets and Baron Davis is like equally dissatisfied to be a Cleveland Cavalier.
