For fans of the Boston Red Sox, any seat in Fenway Park is a good seat, and any game at Fenway Park is a good game. Now, however, fans have the opportunity to purchase some of the most coveted tickets by registering in the 2011 Random Drawings presented by MasterCard.
Starting Wednesday, Feb. 9, at noon, online at redsox.com, fans can register for the chance to purchase tickets to all nine home games versus the rival New York Yankees (including Opening Day), three games versus the Chicago Cubs (their first regular-season visit to Fenway ever) and tickets for seats in the Green Monster and Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck.
For fans who do not have access to the Internet or for those who prefer to use the phone, tickets will also be sold by phone at (877) RED-SOX9.
There are three separate random drawings — Opening Day, Yankees and Cubs games ticket drawing, Green Monster ticket drawing and Budweiser right-field roof-deck ticket drawing. Fans can register for all three at once for no fee. The Red Sox will limit purchases to four tickets per customer per drawing.
