One of the NHL’s best teams just got a little bit better.
According to TSN, the Flyers have acquired forward Kris Versteeg in a trade with the Maple Leafs. According to the report, the Flyers had to part ways with a first- and third-round draft pick for the 24-year old.
Versteeg, who was drafted by the Bruins in 2004, has 14-21-35 totals this season. Versteeg was traded from Chicago to Toronto in June of 2010 after winning a Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks last season.
