Vladimir Guerrero is coming to the AL East.

An MLB source has revealed that Guerrero agreed to a one-year deal worth $8 million with the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, ESPN.com reports. The deal reportedly includes incentives, and the official announcement is still waiting on the results of a physical.

Guerrero became a free agent in November, when the Rangers dropped his $9 million option to stay on in 2011. The designated hitter/outfielder posted a .300 average in 152 games with Texas last season, helping the Rangers to their first World Series appearance in franchise history.

The 15-year MLB veteran played six seasons with the Angels before heading to Texas. He joins Derrek Lee, Kevin Gregg and Mark Reynolds as newcomers in the Baltimore organization this season.
