Baseball super agent Scott Boras is reportedly expanding his clientele.
A source has told ESPN.com that New York Yankees second baseman, Robinson Cano allegedly signed a deal with Boras.
This season marks the final year of Cano’s $30 million contract with the Bronx Bombers, but New York has the option of extending the deal so that Cano would make $10 million and $14 million in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
ESPN.com reports that Boras and Cano came to their agreement in Cano’s hometown of San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic.
Boras is replacing Cano’s former agent, Bobby Barad.
