Should the Celtics Sign Rasheed Wallace?

Do the Celtics have the need for Sheed?

After dealing away starting center Kendrick Perkins late last week, the Celtics could clearly use some help under the glass and former Celtics big man Rasheed Wallace could be the man for the job.

Sheed, who retired after the 2009-10 season, has been denying rumors of returning to the C's all year long, but now that the team is without Perk and a healthy Shaquille O'Neal, many believe that the Celts are looking to beef up down low. And what better way to beef up and be more physical than signing the NBA's all-time leader in technical fouls?

On Monday, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith told WEEI that he believes Sheed wants to return to the Celtics for the playoff run and have one more shot at taking down the Lakers.
