Top 10 Second Basemen in MLB Features Dustin Pedroia, Robinson Cano, Chase Utley in Top Three Slots

Among the many items that Red Sox and Yankees fans can debate is which team has the better second baseman. Sox supporters can point to Dustin Pedroia’s 2008 Most Valuable Player Award and his Gold Glove-caliber play at the position.

New Yorkers cite Robinson Cano as one of the best pure hitters in the game, as well as his improved defensive play. Both are still in their 20s, so the debate could rage for years to come.

There will be some tough omissions in ranking the top 10 at the position. Since we’re that brave and daring, we will take a shot at it.
