Arnold Schwarzenegger Hosts 22nd Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus

Despite his active political and business careers, the Terminator still finds time to lift weights and host events for other body builders.

Throughout the weekend, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be hosting the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio. He's been doing so since 1989.

The event plays to host 18,000 athletes, nearly 7,000 more than the 2008 Summer Olympics and features 46 sports and 12 events, including the Bikini International, Amateur Classic Body Building and the Track and Field Championships, arm wrestling, boxing, cheerleading and hockey.

The seven-time Mr. Olympia is projected to raise $42.2 million over the weekend, from the $15 event entry and $25 VIP party ticket prices.

On Friday, Schwarzenegger took photos and signed autographs for fans. Several fans marveled at meeting the movie star and body-building legend.

"It was like meeting God. He's the foundation. Without him, none of this would have ever happened," one fan said.
