FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Red Sox will once again feature a pair of speed demons atop their lineup when they bat Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford in the first two spots against the New York Mets on Thursday.
Ellsbury and Crawford have been paired in the lineup a few times already this spring.
Behind those two is a lineup filled with reserves and minor leaguers. Mike Cameron is the designated hitter, batting third. Hitting in the cleanup spot is Jed Lowrie, followed by J.D. Drew.
This is all in support of John Lackey, who carries a 1.74 ERA to the mound.
