Forget about throwing octopi. Two hockey fans took part in tossing a salmon onto the ice at a recent game between the Canucks and Flames in Calgary.

How the men smuggled the migratory fish into the Scotiabank Saddledome remains a mystery, but Flames security didn't seem to care too much as they showed the fans to the turnstiles.

The salmon chuckers enjoyed their time in the spotlight, and one even flashed a Nixon-eqsue victory sign on his way out.
