Chad Ochocinco, Devin McCourty Among NFL Players Using Twitter to Express Optimism About Lockout Ruling

Now that the lockout has been at least temporarily lifted, NFL players are certainly optimistic about the possibility of a 2011 NFL season. Many stars revealed their reactions and excitement via Twitter.

Bengals wide receiver and Twitter sensation Chad Ochocinco sent an update to his fans: "#OCNN Awesome development for the players but we are still not sure when it will go into effect, could be in a few days or a few months."

Steelers linebacker James Farrior also updated his followers: "Judgement went in players favor today to lift the lockout. Maybe a season after all. Let's see what the owners come up with next."

Seahawks linebacker Aaron Curry still plans to go on vacation: "Lockout lifted for now!! I can only expect more appeals!!! But who cares Puerto Rico here I come!!"

Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart expressed his eagerness to start again: "one step back to work !!!"

Broncos wide receiver Eddie Royal knows his fans are happy: "Happy to hear the news about the lockout being lifted.. how about u? (like i dont know what ur answer is gonna be lol)"

Bills linebacker Shawne Merriman praised the decision: "One for the good guys…#NFL"
