Derek Jeter Rents Second Apartment in Trump World Tower to Avoid Noisy Neighbors

When most people encounter noises that disturb their beauty rest, they buy earplugs or sleep sound machines — but Derek Jeter is not most people.

According to the New York Post, the Yankees' captain has rented a new apartment at the Trump World Tower, the same building where Jeter already owns a $20 million apartment that is currently on the market. Apparently, Jeter has some noisy neighbors whose home construction disturbed his rest, so the shortstop picked up and moved to a different part of the building.

Jeter's new 2,087-square-foot sleep aid costs him a whopping $15,500 per month, and features two bedrooms and three bathrooms.

This new apartment is Jeter's in-season home away from home, as construction was recently completed on his massive $7.7 million mansion in Tampa, Fla.
