Professional Gambler Billy Walters’ $29 Million Home Trumps Derek Jeter’s New Tampa Mansion

If you’re the kind of person who likes to take risks, then flipping a $29 million dollar luxury estate might be your kind of bet.

The five-bedroom, nine-bathroom home is priced to sell at just a tad under $30 million by professional gambler Billy Walters, and the beachfront property is worth every penny, as most agree that it puts Derek Jeter‘s sparkling new pad to shame.

Walters, known as the “most dangerous bettor in Nevada” because of his winning streaks, bet the house several times over to score this 10,000 square-foot home that sits on an acre and a half in the sleepy town of Carlsbad, Calif., The Wall Street Journal reports.

Walters built his fortune with hard work coupled with a bit of luck. The 63-year-old is a well-known professional in the high-stakes, high-risk world of multimillion dollar sports betting.
