Brandon Marshall may be known for his off-field antics as much as for his dominant performances as a wide receiver, but nothing like this has ever happened to him before.
According to Adam Schefter, Marshall was stabbed by his wife, Michi Nogami, and has been taken to Broward General Hospital, where he is in intensive care. Marshall, though, is “going to be okay.”
“This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family,” Marshall’s agents, Kennard McGuire and Harvey Steinberg, said in a statement, “thankfully he will make a full recovery.”
The Pro-Bowl Dolphins receiver, though, has believed that he was the target of violence in the past. In a testimony regarding the murder of former teammate Darrent Williams, Marshall stated that he believed that he had been the real target, according to ProFootballTalk.
