Tom Brady Not Present at Players’ Preliminary Injunction Hearing

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady might be the first person named on the NFL players' court case against the owners, but he wasn't in attendance for Wednesday's preliminary injunction hearing in St. Paul, Minn.

In fact, of the 10 named plaintiffs in the case, five were no-shows, according to NFL Network, including Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Logan Mankins and Osi Umenyiora.

Chiefs linebacker Mike Vrabel, who was arrested at a casino Monday in Indiana, was present along with Vincent Jackson, Ben Leber, Brian Robison and Von Miller, according to NFL Network.

Attendance was not mandatory for the 10 named plaintiffs.

The players have filed an injunction against the owners to block the lockout, and there are four scenarios that could take place in the hearing.
