The Premier League season is just days from its conclusion, but with a transfer battle over Ashley Young between Liverpool and Manchester United rumored to be impending, the England international is continuing to downplay the issue.
"I have always said that on the pitch I will give 100 percent, which I have done, and when it comes to the end of the season, I will sit down with the manager and the chairman, and we'll take it from there," Young told Sky Sports News.
"I know there is a lot of speculation in the football world and that is how it's been for the last few weeks," he said. "But I have to concentrate on everything that's going on at Aston Villa and keep doing well for the club. We have got one massive game coming up on Sunday and we'll look to get three points."
Young has seven goals and 10 assists for Villa this season, though the squad has struggled, sitting a mere three points from relegation vulnerability with one match remaining. He is valued at approximately £16 million, per Transfermarkt.co.uk.
