Bruins Expect Better Performance From Flyers in Game 2 of Series With Philadelphia Flyers

Game 1 looked easy for the Bruins, but the B’s know that this series is still going to be a long, hard-fought battle.

The Bruins may have taken care of business on Saturday, 7-3, but after last season’s collapse versus Philadelphia, the team knows the importance of keeping their foot on the gas pedal.

Despite giving up a goal on Saturday, NESN’s Doug Flynn says the Bruins’ penalty kill has been good throughout the postseason. He also thinks the power play is improving on a game-by-game basis.

Flynn says he expects a much better performance from the Flyers in Game 2, as do the Bruins, who know from experience the importance of not becoming complacent.
