David Price Hits Batting Practice Home Run, Celebrates by Cartwheeling, Somersaulting Around Bases

David Price is used to success on the mound, as he's become one of baseball's best pitchers. Success at the plate, however, that's something he's a little less accustomed to.

Price showed that earlier this week when he hit a home run during batting practice. The big left-hander was obviously unsure of whether or not he got enough of it, but once the ball landed in the right-field seats, the celebration was on.

Price cart-wheeled into first, cart-wheeled into second, forced a late slide into third (the kind guys can break their ankles on), before somersaulting across home plate.

You have to think the Tampa Bay organization may have had a discussion with Price following his celebration. The last thing a team would want to do is to put their Cy Young candidate on the DL with a cartwheel injury.
