Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Knew of Osama Bin Laden’s Death Before Most Americans

Apparently, when you’re a professional wrestling superstar and a moderately famous movie actor, you apparently gain some friends in very high places.

For proof, look no further than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Johnson, who celebrates his 39th birthday on Monday, tweeted a rather cryptic message on Twitter, indicating he knew of the death of Osama bin Laden without actually saying it.

“Just got word that will shock the world — Land of the free…home of the brave DAMN PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!” he wrote before President Barack Obama addressed the nation at roughly 11:30 p.m. on the East Coast.

After Obama’s address, The Rock tweeted “FINALLY,” which is one of his trademark lines in the ring, before tweeting, “couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present … AMERICA BROUGHT IT — TEAM BRING IT FOREVER PROUD.”

It’s hard to imagine where Johnson got his information, but maybe The Rock Obama isn’t a fictional character after all.
