Floyd Mayweather Jr. is in the news again, and once again, it has nothing to do with his boxing exploits.
The Associated Press reports that Mayweather is facing harassment charges after the fighter allegedly threatened two homeowner association security guards outside of his Las Vegas home in October.
The incident stems from an alleged parking spot incident of all things. According to the police report, Mayweather had a disagreement with two guards after the guards cited Mayweather for parking in prohibited spaces.
The citation upset Mayweather who then, according to the report, threatened the guards.
"I already have a pending gun charge and I don't want any problems, but my homeboys have guns and I’ll call them to come over and take care of you guys," Mayweather said, according to one of the guards. "What do you guys want to do?"
As Mayweather reportedly pointed out himself, he does have a few legal problems to sort out before this incidient. He's facing a September court case for an misdemeanor battery charge stemming from November, and he's also still facing felony charges from a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Mayweather's latest legal issues happen to come on the same weekend that rival boxer Manny Pacquiao prepares to fight Shane Mosley on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Ironically, Mayweather's last fight came against Mosley, a unanimous decision win that leaves Mayweather at 41-0 for his career.
