Red Sox fans have spoken, and they want to be able to watch both the Red Sox and Bruins on Saturday.

Larry Lucchino announced on NESN during Tuesday night's telecast that the Red Sox are changing the start time of Saturday's game against the Oakland Athletics from 7:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m.

The change was made to ensure that fans are able to see the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night, as the B's will take on the Vancouver Canucks in Game 2 in Vancouver at 8 p.m.

The Red Sox turned to social media on Monday night, conducting surveys on their Twitter and Facebook sites to ask fans if they wanted the start time change. According to Lucchino, fans overwhelmingly supported the idea.

NESN's Red Sox coverage will begin at 12 p.m. with Red Sox First Pitch, and Bruins coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Bruins Face-Off Live.
