Tiki Barber Says He Had ‘Reverse Anne Frank Thing’ After Staying in Agent’s Attic

Former Giants running back Tiki Barber seems to have a habit of making enemies whenever he opens his mouth. Barber certainly didn’t do himself any favors when he compared his recent "struggles" to those of Anne Frank.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s L. Jon Wertheim, Barber talked about the flak he’s received after he left his pregant fiancee for his new 23-year-old girlfriend. To avoid the constant public criticism, he revealed in that same piece that he’s been staying in his agent, Mark Lepselter’s, attic.

"Lep's Jewish," Barber said to Wertheim, "and it was like a reverse Anne Frank thing."

The remark, of course, is a reference to the young Jewish victim of the Holocaust whose diary is one of the most influential pieces of literature form the Holocaust.
