Timberwolves GM David Kahn Implies That NBA Draft Lottery Results Are Rigged

The Minnesota Timberwolves had the most pingpong balls in the NBA draft lottery bucket. They didn't have a 14-year-old suffering from a rare neurological disease, or a franchise decimated by the most calamitous free-agent exit in NBA history.

When Timberwolves GM David Kahn put two and two together last night, he claimed that, despite the Cavaliers' 2.8 percent chance of landing the top pick via the Clippers, such was always going to be the result. The storyline was simply too good for the league to pass up.

In the process, he relatively strongly insinuated that this wasn't just destiny, but the results of rigging — and that this wasn't the only time such had happened.
