Apparently, 39 is the new 29 in the NHL. Just ask Jaromir Jagr.

The 39-year-old Jagr has been looking at a return to the NHL after three seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia, and his agent, Petr Svoboda, told ESPN.com that the list of teams interested is growing.

Originally believed to be a three-team race between Montreal, Detroit and the team that Jagr had the most success with, the Pittsburgh Penguins, Svoboda said it doesn't end there.

"There's a lot more teams now we're talking to," Svoboda told ESPN.com.

The eight-time All-Star and former Hart Trophy winner said through his agent that he will make his decision in the coming days, but is in no rush.

"I'm not going to put a time frame on it," Svoboda said on behalf of Jagr. "Basically we have nothing new and I can't tell you anything."

It's been reported that the Penguins have offered Jagr a one-year, $2 million contract.
