LeBron James Roasted by Brian Scalabrine, As Former Celtic Contemplates His Own ‘Decision’ This Summer

Last summer, LeBron James made the biggest (bonehead) decision of his life.

Not his choice to play in Miami — who wouldn’t want to join a supersquad in South Beach? I’m talking about his decision to have The Decision live on ESPN.

Clearly, I’m not the only one.

Former Celtic Brian Scalabrine agrees, and he let the jokes fly Wednesday morning on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich show.

Scal, who is leaning toward playing in Europe next season based on rumors of an NBA lockout this winter, told the radio show’s hosts that he was (jokingly) considering having his own Decision to announce if and where he’d be playing overseas.

“I’m taking my talents to… Barcelona!” he joked.

Too bad Scal, “a hater,” will have to go back to his boring, embarrassing, dreary, sad, pathetic life tomorrow.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

Would you rather have Scal or LeBron on the Celtics?

Quote of the day

“It will be good offensively, but damn, I’m going to have to play second, first and right. I’ve got small legs. That’s a lot of ground. I’m going to have to talk to Tito.”
–Dustin Pedroia, on the thought of David Ortiz playing first base and Adrian Gonzalez playing right field.

Not if the gator’s getting good odds and its on his home swamp — nothing beats a good under(gator)dog at home. That’s some sweet, sweet action.
