American Charley Hoffman is expected to be on hand in Norton, Mass., in early September to defend his Deutsche Bank Championship.
Chances are, though, that he'll have to take down a host of the world's top golfers in order to grab the trophy — much like he did last year.
Hoffman came roaring on Sunday at last year's tournament, shooting a final-round 62 en route to a 22-under and the championship title.
Hoffman came out on top of a field that included Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Geoff Ogilvy, Luke Donald, Adam Scott and Vijay Singh among others.
The tournament is held at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.– about 45 minutes south of Boston.
The winner will receive $1.44 million from an $8 million purse.
The tournament raises money for the Tiger Woods Foundation and there is a good chance that if Woods is healthy, he'll play in the tournament.
Tickets to the four-day tournament, which will take place Sept. 1-4, go on sale Friday, June 17, and can be purchased at dbchampionship.com.
